Making the Rounds and Crashing

We left our AirBnb so early in the morning that much of Madrid had not gone to sleep yet.  It was dark out and the night clubs were winding down. Over 24 hours of travel and we were back in New York.

What a great experience this trip has been.  We saw so much, had plenty of time to leave the tourist mode and get into everyday life.  I know we each took different things away from this experience, but I think at the end we were all happy to get back to our "norm" in the U.S.

Since leaving Madrid we have been in NJ getting our camper and storage stuff organized,

The girls are back together :)

All of our stuff coming out of the LaPointe's attic.  2 years packed away.

to NC to scout towns for stick houses, camped just outside of Atlanta in a very nice state park called Sweetwater Creek State Park.

Visiting friends in Atlanta

We spent some time in Pensacola with family, friends and celebrated a birthday.

Halloween in Colorado

That's where we are now.

After our time in Europe, I felt like I needed a bedroom to just sleep and recover.  We have been visiting with friends and camping and all of those things take a certain amount of energy.  My supply was low and the decision making process was wearing on me.

So partially to save our sanity and partially because we really like this state, we are renting for a year in Colorado.  Gonna take care of braces and few other things that need attention.  Giving our decision-making muscle a break and enjoy this beautiful state for a bit.

I never thought it would happen but I am kind of ready to have a house again.  I'm not 100% in, but feel okay about entering this new phase.

Our home for now :)
