On to Breighton and York

We are visiting a co-worker of Diego's, David, here south of York in a village called Breighton.

Very nice area with lots of farm land around.

Out on a walk in Breighton

The kids have all been playing on the trampoline, in the tree house and on the PlayStation.  The weather is very temperamental.  It switches between sun, clouds and rain within minutes continuously some days.  Very nice temperatures though.

Toured York.  Walked through the Shambles, Clifford's Tower, York's Chocolate Story, The Minster, etc.... Very charming city.

Over the weekend a nearby village had a fair and we spent the day there seeing lots of interesting and fun things.  Horse show, Bike show, farm animals, birds of prey, etc.  There was a horse show unlike any I had seen.  The horses were trained for film so could fake getting shot, and lots of other cool tricks.

Stunt bike show
Learning how to carve the wood.
Went out on a day trip to Whitby, a fishing village on the North Sea.

Cute place with an abbey up on the hill called Whitby Abbey.  The abbey was badly damaged during WWI, but is still very impressive.

Have had a very nice visit here!
