Rain!

We just left Raleigh, NC.

The weather was not very cooperative for outdoor activities, so the girls and I went to some of the science museums that we have access to through our Franklin Institute reciprocal membership in Philly. The downtown area of Raleigh seemed nice and the museums were awesome.

The Museum of Natural Sciences had a three story screen that was playing cool science videos all the time.  We couldn't get through all 7 floors, but we did take advantage of the special dinosaur exhibit.

The next day we went to the Marbles Kids Museum while Diego worked at a nearby coffee shop.  It was geared towards a younger audience, with tons of hands on activities.  It reminded me of the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia.  The girls still had a lot of fun and spent about 2 hours on a pulley system that kept circulating toy discs around the room.

The campground where we stayed was functional and felt safe, but nothing special.
